National Workshop on Emerging Technologies in Electrical Power Engineering (NWET-2023) and All India Power Engineers’ Meet (AIPEM) With Focus on “Green Energy: The Primary Link to Modern India” from 15th - 17th December 2023 Organized by Silicon Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar With technical sponsorship from IEEE Bhubaneswar Sub-Section PES Chapter and All India Power Engineer's Group (SPARK…..Ignited to share).

Workshop Objectives

The National Workshop on Emerging Technologies(NWET) serves as a platform for industry and academia to exchange knowledge on emerging technologies. It's been held annually since 2009, with NWET-2022 focusing on Grid Modernisation and Digitalisation. It included an exclusive day for the 2nd edition of All India Power Engineers’ Meet (AIPEM) where experts and audiences from various fields discussed case studies. NWET-2023, the 14th edition, continues to facilitate discussions among researchers, industry players, and utility experts. Renowned speakers from institutions like IITs, NITs, and industry giants like PRDC, CPRI, PGCIL, OPTCL Odisha, TATA Power ABB, Siemens, and GE will be present. The theme for NWET this year is “Green Energy: The Primary Link to Modern India”.
Due to the significant recognition and positive feedback received in 2020 & 2022, the 3rd edition of AIPEM is scheduled to be held following NWET-2023 on 17th December 2023. The 3rd AIPEM-2023 will revolve around the SPARK Engineers' congress, focusing on a symposium titled "Emerging Technologies, Now & Next..."
SPARK (All India Power Engineers WhatsApp group) is the knowledge partner with technical support for the program since 2019. Members all across the nation were the participants in the workshop.
